The Etching, is used for smear layer porcelain, and prepare it for bonding.
The dam is used for protecting hard and soft tissues of oral cavity from the acid.
Gel ?1 CERAMGEL etching is based on hydrofluoric acid (HF) used for etching ceramics, glass, metal, etc... (as Prime-Dent Porcelain Etch Gel)
Gel ?2 CERAMGEL dam is based on sodium bicarbonate solution for neutralizing the acid from the etching.
