Ortho Vita Light Cure Band Cement is a composite no-mix, no-mess cement, with fluoride ion release, conveniently preloaded in syringes.
No sealant is needed, and there is no rush to beat a setting time.
Complete cure is accomplished in 30 seconds.
Cement is available in blue colour.
PREPARE TEETH
Clean teeth thoroughly with plain pumice using a bristle brush or rubber cup, making sure not to irritate the gingival.Rinse teeth thoroughly and dry.(Etching of the enamel is not required.)
APPLY PASTE
Dispense a small bead of cement on the inside of the band.(Make sure band is dry.)
PLACE BAND
Fully seat the band and remove all excess cement before curing.
CURE ADHESIVE
Direct the light close to the occlusal surface or the tooth and move light slowly around the top of the band.Cure for 30 seconds.
Precautions and Warnings
Uncured resin materials can cause irritation.Wash hands after handling material.the bonding materials are formulated to be used at room temperature.Shelf life is two years when handled properly. Kits can be refrigerated to extend shelf life. Do not store materials in the proximity to eugenol-containing products. Do not expose materials to elevated temperature or intense light.Etchant contains 38% phosphoric acid which is harmful to skin and eyes.In case of skin contact,flush with water and seek immediate medical assistance.
