Buccal Attachments to Molar Bands

The main archwire slot is centered occlusal/gingivally,and the hook is always placed towards the gingiva.
Standard angulation is always 0°, which means the main slot runs parallel with the occlusal margin of the band.
The mesial face of the tube bisects the buccal cusp on the maxillary arch, while on the mandibular arch the main body of the tube is centered on the buccal indent

Lingual Attachments to Molar Bands

Standard positioning for lingual attachments are as follows for each attachment:
Lingual Sheaths and Cleats are centered mesial/distal as well as occlusal/gingival.
Buttons are centered on the mesial cusp and are offset 1mm towards the occlusal margin from the center of the band.
