Great White Gold Series Burs are engineered using a proprietary design that revolutionized the carbide bur market. Proven to cut the hardest and most challenging dental material such as composite and semi-precious metals with greater efficiency and less chatter. Great White Gold Burs significantly reduce restoration removal and preparation time, saving clinicians up to 50 hours per year in operatory time. Great White Z Diamonds are engineered for superior cutting of ceramic and zirconia-based crowns during crown removal, endodontic access and lab procedures.

  • Superior neck strength virtually eliminate breakage concern
  • Cuts all hard materials including non and semi-precious metal, amalgam and composite
  • Multi-functional bur that reduces rotary inventory, streamlines order process
  • Cuts even hard materials smoothly, increasing patient satisfaction
  • Metal Crown Removal:

    • Great White Burs designed to cut metal substructures for restoration removal during endodontic treatment.

    Advanced Technology for Optimal Performance!

Great White™ Gold Series burs have a unique state of the art design. By increasing dentates and incorporating an enhanced blade geometry, the Gold Series bur cuts faster than a standard dentated (crosscut) bur and smoother than a straight bladed bur.

    Crown Cutting/Removal

Use the enhanced neck strength and faster cutting rate of a single Great White Gold Series bur to efficiently cut slots through any metal crown.

    Rapid Endodontic Access

Select the appropriate Great White Gold Series round bur (GW #2R, GW #4R, GW #6R, GWSL #6R or GW #8R) to penetrate the restoration and or tooth structure to create endo access. Note: If you are creating access in a PFM Crown and intend to preserve the crown, penetrate the porcelain using a round diamond. Then switch to the appropriate GW bur to complete the access.

    Faster, Smoother Cavity Preparations

Aggressively cuts tooth structure and restorative materials. Does not grab, catch, stall or break in harder to cut materials such as amalgam, composite, semi-precious and non-precious castings.

    • Sperior neck strength virtually eliminates breakage concerns
    • Cuts all hard materials including non- and semi-precious metal, amalgam and composite
    • Multi-functional bur helps reduce rotary inventory
    • Reduces vibration and chatter, increasing patient comfort
